If you can’t attend, please email all Councillors with your opposition to the Melbourne Racing Club’s appalling C60 development.

This Council can debate all it wants about Caulfield but the fact is Council doesn’t own the Racecourse and is only a bit player in any decision making.

Yes anonymous you are right Council doesn’t own the Racecourse and Council is only a bit player. The Racecourse is owned by the people and Council is the representative of the people. It is wrong that Council is only a bit player and this needs to be changed.

Big news… after an ardious night at council where one feels some progress was made…On the way home I stopped at the MRC owned flats at 142 Booran Road, the site of the “New Park” which we and the police and Glen Eira Council had indicated was unsuitable for a park… now one sees application for a seven lot sub-division. The app. no. is GE.PP 23323/2010

This “new Park” is still advertised on the MmRC website!
