As expected, Cheryl Forge was today declared the new Glen Eira councillor. She will be sworn in at tonight’s council meeting.

Why would she bother? She will be the shortest term Councillor in the history of this city.

Congratulations to Mrs Forge on her election to our Council. Democracy is alive and well in Glen Eira and for our information Cr Forge received 566 votes or 3.03% of 18666 formal votes in the previous 2008 Election. Cr Lobo in his ward received 1157 votes or 5.45% of 21230 votes cast in his Ward in 2008.

Yes, but there is in the metal between Cr. Forge and Cr. Lobo the latter has lived in various worlds and believes
in doing what is right – without fear and favour.
