It will be fascinating to see what the Panel reports on the Caulfield Racecourse and how much this undermines what council has sold out for. Then again, pehaps the Panel will only read the Government script. Can’t wait.

Is it a plan or what to have the Centre of the Racecourse Planning objections are due at the same time as the VEAC Report is due to be published. Remember our council only submitted a page long set of commendations regarding the use of space in Caulfield area how council was negotiating for a little extra space in school playgrounds. Was council interested in we the ratepayers? Two councillors worked extremely hard on this issue in our interests but the other seven submitted a document which would have taken a teenager half an hour to write out!!!! My document was even longer as I believe I understand the importance of open space for all citizens of this state to a greater extent than our councillors.
