And they try to tell us this Council is not dysfunctional – Hyams put Magee last and Magee puts Hyams last. Does not bode well for working together

Oh that is Mr. Magoo! His pledge ….. its time to put “Tucker Ward First” clearly shows that he will not take interest in other wards. He should remember that he is a Councillor for Glen Eira and has to vote on all the issues in other wards. When Councillors make decisions they have to vote without any prejudice. In a forum held in RSL Bentleigh, 18 months ago a resident complained that his nature strip and the part of the street was full of twigs and leaves. Magee in turn told the elderly resident that he needs to sweep the street. There were 40 plus attendees at the forum and many of them were angry that a Councillor had no respect to the resident of Tucker Ward.

Like many other things he has also got this wrong. He is an ACE for baffling.

What a flip flop man – was anti GESAC, then for GESAC and now he’s back to anti GESAC. If you’re gonna put Tucker first Jimbo – how about addressing the traffic and parking issues that it causes. You are a Councillor and have almost 6 months of residents complaints and countless opportunities to view it all first hand. What have you done – nothing, what will you do – probably the same.

Oh and why on the subject of GESAC, would you please explain why you, a member of the Pools Steering Committee, didn’t speak up about the GESAC delay.

Jim definitely has shortcomings. Having input in all council discussions is just one. His cold handling of all things gesac certainly didn’t give anyone any feeling on where he stood with basketball allocations. Helped start the groundswell then backed off. Was he warned off? His putting Jamie no 14 was propably just the luck of the coin toss. He isn’t on council to be friends with the other 8 but maybe they should all pull their heads in and act more professional.
