Amazing – a Council that is actually asking for ratepayer input prior to and to be considered in the decision making process (a.k.a. the consensus community participation approach).
Kingston’s approach is alien to Glen Eira which adopts the inform approach – i e. this is our decision (with little or no justification and zero community input), you can comment but we will ignore it.
While the end result (Kingston vs Glen Eira approach) may be boiled down to the difference in “when you go through the motions” to achieve the result
you desire at least the Kingston approach shows a finesse lacking in Glen Eira.
