The Save Glen Eira (SGE) community group has published a questionnaire that is/has been distributed to all ward candidates for them to fill out if they so desire. The questions are broad ranging and we believe will assist voters in determining who to vote for. The questions cover everything from:
- planning
- open space
- personal motivation and skills
- local involvement

Excellent questionnaire
Where was the question that asked,
“Will you turn against the residents if you are elected, and side the bureaucrats”
The oversight committees are a damn good idea. They would help stymie the under the table dealings many of us think could be happening in the planning department.
I think new councillors should boycott the Councillor Retreat Weekend, that Glen Eira uses to capture new councillors minds, there seems to be shades of the “Stockholm Syndrome” at play here.
