Buckleys of getting Labs to cough up another $15m or so to buy land and then build. Not when they’ve got skyrail to deal with, purchasing homes, east west costs, blah, blah, blah. 3 secondary schools within a stone’s throw of each other doesn’t make sense either.
Can’t wait for Magee’s vote on whether Gillon can build his 4000 units.
Gillon should sell part of the land to a private school. They are the only ones with money to get a school up and going. Agree that the government hasn’t any intention of building a new school there. They would be happier with more apartments. The trade off could be some funding for a private school.

counted them and got – 18 state run schools and 19 private schools. Not bad.
