Below is just some of what is happening in Glen Eira. Urban Melbourne lists over 70 major current projects. We’ve selected a mere 30! Please note that all of these have permits and many are under construction. As we’ve revealed in an earlier post there are at least another 774 apartments waiting in the wings for council approval. Also note that these mere 30 projects equal over 1300 apartments.
Our thanks to Urban Melbourne for these screen dumps.

Poor, poor Bent Street. It’s gone from lovely bungalows to a ghetto of lego blocks.

There’s a 16 unit building been approved for 2 Ulupna Street on a normal suburban block. A quiet suburban street. Madness! No one is safe when something like this occurs.

8 stories is not on. This isn’t part of councils urban villages. Ambit claim for sure but they will probably get 6 because 6 is now allowed across the road. Whatever they do it is probably too late. They should have stopped this years ago.

Has there ever been a more incompetent Premier than Daniel Andrews?

The thing about the new fences (railings) is that they now have gates in them instead of gaps like the old railings. When you combine this with the security signs + ‘horses are dangerous animals’ discourages people from entering. I spose they can then say the public don’t use the racecourse so lets build a night racing track!

2,500 metres of mesh fencing is about 2000 metres longer than Queens Avenue.
No prizes for guessing where the rest is going.
