Apologies for the jumbled mess – hard to get all the ‘signage’ in given the amount of development. We’ve undoubtedly also missed some, especially along Centre Road. Not all double storeys are included, whilst the handful rejected by VCAT are included given that the developer will undoubtedly have a second go. Needless to say the vast majority rejected by council will also eventually get their permits, albeit with a dwelling or two chopped off.
We would welcome feedback on the following:
- Has anyone seen any recent drainage works in any of these streets?
- Has anyone had any traffic management works in their streets?
- Has anyone seen parking officers patrolling these areas?

No 8 or 9 story yet like in Bentleigh. That will come because land is cheaper in E. Bentleigh than in Bentleigh. Looking forward to another 3 to 4000 boxes in virginia park.

Traffic management is none, I saw a side-swiped parked car in Mavho St, I hope the diver left the. their details, because the car was badly damaged. Residents surly do pay the costs of inappropriate development.

I cannot remember who was the Councillor who said in front of full house gallery “Residents can keep complaining about the new zones until the cows come home” he/she may be right because not enough residents are coming together to show the People Power. Councillors will keep bluffing unless this action is taken. Shame on Councillors to take $30K from the ratepayers and abuse them in return.

i see Glen Eira has a new have your say on EE gunn reserve including moving the pavillion. After Booran reserve, duncan mckinnon etc will this just be more money down the drain. They are claiming Booran is only 6 months late!

Gecc handed control of Booran in 2008 . Only 9 years to get something done that has no resemblance whatsoever to what residents were told would happen there.

We call it Disneyland, it has absolutely no resemblance to the impression that residents we given. A question to council at the end of last year on that point, came back with the fanciful reply “that only 2 things had changed.

Have seen drainage works. Storm water drains replaced on east side of east boundary rd in the central area near the hospital. Also, the sewerage system in Longview av/gardiner rd area overflowed and everyones drains baked up! Gleneira is imposing parking limits on longview abe we saw in the mail as well.

Notice they have decided to make the movies free at the racecourse tonight. Didnt look like to many cars were there on previous nights. Maybe people dont like mossies!
