Lobo was an apology for tonight’s special council meeting.
Hyams nominated Pilling. There was no other nomination.
Esakoff nominated Okotel as deputy mayor. Delahunty nominated Sounness.
Vote was 6 to 2 in favour of Okotel.
Voting in favour of Okotel – Esakoff, Lipshutz, Hyams, Pilling, Magee, Okotel
Voting in favour of Sounness – Delahunty, Sounness

The gang got their stooge in again. Went one better this time – got both stooges in. A united council? – like hell it is. Lobo missing in action again too.

A very surprising result in some ways. My money would have been on Delahunty. It would have looked good on her cv with local council being a stepping stone to bigger things at state level. Result indicates that the libs want libs (Pilling and Okotel). They prime him and he does their bidding. A very nice arrangement. Delahunty’s labor leanings too much of a risk and she might even run a meeting the way it should be run. Not good result for residents at all.

Pilling and his mates have messed up with the people of the municipality/, however he has done a much better job as a YES man to the gang and loves the taste of cursed $80K salary a loop hole he has seen to sell out his residents in Glen Eira. Greens are clearly a loopy party (sane sex marriage legalisation etc) Most of them need to be sent to mental hospital. Self righteous people given the track record wanting to go to bed with anyone and everyone.
Why was Lobo a NO SHOW? Is he still in the church he he.

Lobo’s no show is becoming a habit. Wasn’t his absence the reason for the coin toss that landed Hyams the mayoralty a few years back?

None of them deserve $90000. They do bugger all for residents.
