If council’s online planning register is to be believed, then the prize for the most outrageous, arrogant application for ages goes to the following:
Address: 1 Adelaide Street, McKinnon
Area: approx. 640 square metres
Zone: GRZ1
Application: Construction of 34 (that’s right, 34) THREE STOREY dwellings!
Once again we can only thank these councillors for opening the flood gates and welcoming developers with open arms via the zoning and planning scheme!

It’s property 1 through 9 (3255 sqm), as clearly stated in the register. Directly abutting the C1Z and provided a rear laneway. I do not see your issue, as it is clearly an appropriate location as opposed to a quiet residential street.

Sorry, but council’s register states 1 Adelaide St – ie a single block of 640-50 square metres. If this is an error, then it is up to council to fix it!The only other application we are aware of for properties numbered 1 to 9 is Claire St – the next street along.
