What a load of crap. This ain’t about “relationships” it’s about bullying and rotten rotten governance which is against the law. These are criminal offences. Those responsible should be made to pay.

One way of reading this is to see it as a total condemnation of all of these councillors. It says that the behaviours were not conducive to the proper functioning and good governance of council. A terrible admission because that means that no councillor did anything to stop it or to haul the protagonists over the coals. They are all culpable on this. Instead they voted to censure someone without evidence. They allowed Hyams to get away with calling someone a fuckwit and a bitch and Lipshutz to repeatedly insult residents and councillors. They are terrible councillors.

First take a secret vote to make it confidential. Then tell every one you can’t talk about it because it’s confidential.
It worked for a short time during the Guns in Parks issue but then it unraveled big time. Here’s hoping the same happens on this one.

We must give credit to Delahunty and Lobo who are seen standing for residents. Lobo has shown his metal and he will go down the history of Glen Eira City Council, (where there is bancruptcy in transparency) for speaking out when he sees something not right.

Gotta be an almighty stoush going on.
No minutes from Tuesday, 19th July, 2016 (should have been published Friday, 22/7/2016) and now no agenda published for next Tuesday, 3rd August, 2016 (should have been published by noon, Friday 29/7/2016).
I’m guessing, that
. the minutes are delayed because these are the first set of minutes not prepared by GE’s principal spin doctor (Burke) and certain Councillors (Hyams, Lipshutz, Esakoff, and Pilling) are not happy with the result and
. the agenda is delayed because it’s the CEO who decides what’s in the agenda (the Mayor doesn’t even have input). This blatant deficiency in governance practices, is something Councillors first signed away years ago and continue to sign away annually when they approve delegations of authority. I’m betting the above mentioned were happy to be nobbled when Newton was at the helm, but were too busy ego stroking to remember to amend the delegations when Newton departed.

Please note that the next scheduled council meeting is 9th August. That means that agenda should be out on Friday before, and not last Friday. The non-appearance of the minutes (even given council’s excuse of not finishing the council meeting on time) still does not excuse the fact that the minutes are still not up.

The residents need to do the following if the report is not released by the most ineffective and take it easy two terms mayor just there for money:
• Report to Ombudsman
• Report to Inspectorate
• Report to IBAC
• Public need to bombard the new CE
• Written letter and emails
• Petitions to ask for the report paid by rate payers
• Contact MP Nick Staikos and the MP in Caulfield.to inform the Premier for this abuse and cost involved.

All of us anonnymous need to complaint to all the organisations so that the culprits are sacked playing with our rates. The Dollar figures given by the two times Mayor who is a slave of thg- gang has quoted the price of $27K and 17K as lawyers are fairy tales particularly the investigations conducted by QC. The Council must handover the report kept under the table and the Glen Eira MP’s must bring this as a motion in the Victorian Parliament for the sake of residents and to expose this Council spending rate payers money just to take revenge on someone who has stood up in our democratic country. They must be replaced by new and energetic Councillors without any legal knowledge. Lay people need to stand up and remember how they have behaved.

OF COURSE THE REPORT WOULD BE MORE ABOUT CURE THAN CAUSE
