We are committed to facilitating genuine debate within Glen Eira. Your views on planning, environment, open space, CEO and councillor performance matter.
Committed councillors do put in a fair bit of time. No problems with $25K. Mayors getting $95K is out. That’s far more than the average wage and yes, they do spend a fair bit of time teeing up things with admin, but mainly cut ribbons, read prepared speeches and in Glen Eira’s case, vote as they’ve been told to vote. That is not $95K’s worth of community minded action.
Ho’s started off on the right Liberal foot – oppose skyrail.
OMG Kelvin jumped right into Oktel’s shoes, which just demonstrates he is taking his orders from Southwick’s office.
At least Kelvin is being up-front about his love of the Liberal Party, the rest of his council colleagues are in denial especially Cr. Pilling with his Liberal Party links.
Lets see if Mr. Ho can sort any conflict of interests when separating his spare time pursuits from his development pursuits.
Me thinks he’s paving the way for another shot at the dough, I don’t think we should let any Newton near our town hall after our experience of our last Newton, let’s declare the town hall a Newton free zone
